Ezekiel Elliott was absent from practice today. Elliott suffered a knee injury against the Detroit Lions but returned to the game. Elliott has suffered a knee injury before, but it’s one to watch closely this week. Zeke says he’s not sure about his status for Sunday.

Noah Brown was also absent from training today and was working with James Washington in the side.

Damone Clark landed on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list after undergoing spinal fusion surgery in March this year. Clark was not expected to be ready to contribute so soon, but the team are happy with his progress and he has joined the roster of 53 players.

As noted, the Cowboys also put Jourdan Lewis and Matt Farniok on injured reserve.

Safety Malik Hooker, with a hamstring injury, was also added to the injury report. He did not practice. Offensive tackle Terence Steele and tight end Dalton Schultz, with neck and knee injuries respectively, practiced in a limited capacity.
