    • Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version – Launch Star-Lord’s jet boots for a mad dash across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a new take on Marvel guardians of the galaxy. With the Unpredictable Guardians by your side, fight your way from one explosive situation to another, with quirky and iconic Marvel characters caught up in a fight for the fate of the universe. You got that. Probably. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version will be available on October 26.
    • Skul: the hero slayer – Experience a fast-paced rogue-lite where losing your mind is encouraged. With 100 playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and a ton of items that can create insane synergies, the battles here are as electrifying as they are difficult.
  • Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch online

    • The Nintendo 64 system was first released 25 years ago, giving many gamers their first 3D gaming experiences. The system also featured intense four-player multiplayer action in several of its games. And now, with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, you can access a selection of classic Nintendo 64 games on your Nintendo Switch console, with more coming soon! The launch range includes Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario kart 64, Star fox 64, Sin and punishment, Dr Mario 64, Mario tennis, To win back and Yoshi’s story. Participate in a Mario kart 64 run with friends online, share your screen and bring someone for your Star fox 64 roll and pause your game at any time during The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.   • SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online

    • A Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership also grants access to a wealth of curated SEGA Genesis games. The launch lineup includes the following games, with more to come: Sonic the hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2, Ecco the dolphin, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Contra: Hard body, Dr Robotnik’s Medium Bean Machine, Golden ax, Gunstar hero, MOUSHA, Fantastic Star IV, Ristar, Brilliant strength, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master and Surveyor. You can play these classic games with additional features like rewinding to collect rings in Sonic the hedgehog 2, or create a save state before the final boss of Golden ax! The SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online library will be available on October 25.


  • Games with spooky updates It is the season of merry haunts and macabre treats. Check out these games with Halloween themed updates and events:
    • Fortnite – Your fortune predicts a lot in this year’s Fortnitemares… in fact, things are in the cards for you until November 2nd. Immerse yourself in Halloween themed cards, games and experiments. These are presented in the “Fortnitemares” section of the playlist menu. Throughout the month of October, cards reveal legendary monsters making their way to the Fortnite Item shop, as well as classic Fortnite characters getting new Halloween twists.
    • Monitoring – It’s time for another year of fear – Monitoring The terror of Halloween is here! Celebrate this horrific holiday with weekly rewards and the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge, where you’ll team up with three other players to take on a host of haunting horrors. Play games in Quick Play, Competitive Play or the Arcade to win Monitoring Halloween Terror Loot Boxes and unlock spellbinding cosmetics to send your enemies to their graves.
    • Rocket league – Batman returns to Rocket league for haunted relics! Batman and his enemies take over Rumble mode, turning it into Gotham City Rumble and rushing in with the new Arena variant: Beckwith Park (Gotham Night). Additionally, all three versions of the Dark Knight’s high-tech vehicle are rushing into the Item Shop: the Batmobile (1989), the Dark Knight’s Tumbler, and the Batmobile (2016).
    • Apex Legends– Until November 2, join the Apex Legends Monsters in the event. Fight to conquer the Encore Arenas map, the place where Seer made his name as a man to be reckoned with. Special event-limited cosmetic sets highlight the spooky side of some of the most formidable legends, including Revenant, Bloodhound, Caustic, and Seer.
  • Fun Furry Creepy Crafty Get your furry family members ready for Halloween – and the Mario Party Superstars game – with adorable printable pet masks from My Nintendo featuring Thwomp, Monty Mole, Boo and Bowser Jr.! In addition to the video games available in retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new games every week to Nintendo eShop, which offers a variety of options for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles, the Wii U console, and the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles.

Nintendo Switch Online is a paid subscription service that allows members to team up or compete online in compatible Nintendo Switch games, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Members also enjoy an organized library of classic NES and Super NES games, including Super Mario Bros 3, Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, among many others. With a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, players have access to even more benefits, including a Nintendo 64 game library with newly added online play for up to four players (additional accessories may be required for multiplayer mode; sold separately), Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC (available November 5) and SEGA Genesis retro games.

Nintendo eShop is a cash service that offers a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, apps and demos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the card code. All funds on a card must be loaded into Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch Family, Wii U, or Nintendo 3DS Family systems, but can be used in any Nintendo eShop if the consoles are linked to only one Nintendo Account.

Customers in the United States and Canada aged 18 and over can also link a PayPal account to their Nintendo Account to purchase digital games and content for the Nintendo Switch family of systems both on the device and on the Nintendo website. Once the accounts are linked, users can also use PayPal as a payment option when purchasing digital content for the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family consoles from the Nintendo website.
