The Ministry of Entrepreneurs and Cooperative Development (MEDAC) has appointed Rev Media Group as a strategic partner for its digital platform, MyMall, to help SME entrepreneurs in Malaysia advertise their products and services with the advertising platform. Launched in collaboration with consumer intelligence company Dattel Asia Group, REV Ad Manager is powered by AI for better audience targeting. Using the REV Ad Manager platform, Rev Media Group said SMB entrepreneurs can directly advertise their products and leverage the 15.8 million unique visitors to its audience network across brands such as Berita Harian, Harian Metroand New Strait Timesamong others.

At the same time, MyMall was presented by MEDAC last December as an entrepreneurial ecosystem development platform dedicated to entrepreneurs and local products. Resulting from the integration of all the e-commerce platforms under the Ministry, MyMall comprises four main areas: e-commerce, training, financing and marketing. The launch of MyMall came shortly after MEDAC issued a statement revealing that the country’s MSME sector, which accounts for almost 40% of the country’s GDP, is on the verge of “collapse”.
