What’s great about blogging? Let’s take a closer look. There are lots of jobs there. But only a few can be called the best jobs in the world. What makes these jobs so great? They generally offer a good work-life balance, are well paid, and are exciting and fun. So what are the best jobs in the world?

According to my research, some of the most popular are data scientists, marketing managers, software engineers, HR managers, and web developers. But that’s not why you’re here. You are here because you found the title of this article curious enough to click on. Or maybe a friend sent it to you and you had enough time to try it out. Hopefully you won’t be too disappointed with my thoughts and writings.

I am currently moving. Even though I took days off from my daily job, I still blog. Why do I load so much on my shoulders? Shouldn’t I skip a few days and focus on one thing? I should probably do exactly that, but maybe it’s not that I work for the sake of working. Maybe I blog to relax. Maybe it helps with stress. Or maybe it’s just a way of procrastinating, even though it might be creative.

I just finished the last box of the day, had a cold pop, grabbed the laptop, and now I’m writing as I sit on my balcony at 1:49 in the morning. I can write a blog while relaxing and looking at the stars at night. What a cool job is this? Of course, there are plenty of bloggers who wouldn’t call blogging a job, and it’s possible they write without the intention of doing so professionally and without expecting to make money from it. It’s quite good too. I love this idea, actually. I’m not much different, but for circumstances that are part luck and part perseverance, I happen to make money off it.

As you read this article you are presented with some advertisements from Google, and while you can completely ignore them, they help me fund everything I do without thinking too much about what I should do next, even though I can – don’t want to do that. Unless you’re one of the roughly 70% of all internet users who use some sort of ad blocker, in which case you’re not contributing, but I’m just writing the facts and not trying to make you feel guilty . I am convinced that you also have good reasons for this.

What are the reasons why blogging is great for me?

So much for the introduction and what’s going on here right now. Let’s get back to the subject without too much blabla. I certainly don’t mean to waste your time. What makes blogging great? What makes blogging one of the best jobs in the world? At least in my books, if that counts for anything. Let me share my thoughts with you, and maybe by the end of the article you might agree with all the points or at least some of them.

One of the best things about blogging is that it’s a job that can be done from anywhere in the world. As long as you have an internet connection, you can blog from anywhere. This means that if you want to travel, you can easily take your work with you. You don’t have to worry about finding a new job in a new location. You can also work from home, which means you don’t have to go to the office every day. It can save you a lot of time and money.

Another great thing about blogging is that it’s a very flexible job. You can work when you want and you can take breaks when you need them. There are no fixed hours and you are accountable only to yourself. This means that you can easily adapt your work to your other commitments. Another great aspect of blogging is that it is very creative work.

You can express yourself any way you want and you can reach people all over the world with your words. It’s a great way to connect with people and make a difference in the world. You can also co-blog with other bloggers and make friends like that. Not every project might last forever, but even a small guest blog exchange could help increase your readership.

Blogging is also a great way to earn money. If you build a large enough audience, you can start making money through advertising and sponsorships. You can also sell products and services through your blog. This means that you can make a good income from your blog if you work hard. When it comes to social media, it is one of the most important tools for a blogger.

It lets you connect with your audience, promote your blog, and build a following. It’s also a great way to interact with other bloggers and collaborate on projects. If you’re tired of typing, why not try making a podcast or even vlogging on YouTube? If you experiment with formats and media, you may even be able to reach more people.

Your voice is important

If you’re one of the lucky few who doesn’t care about money, you can still use your blogging superpowers as an ambassador for good. You could use your powers of influence to talk about things that matter to society and the environment. Of course, you don’t need to preach but report your observations and share your ideas on how to do better. You may not be the CEO of a big company or a politician, but your voice is equally powerful.

I want to end the post on a positive note. You know technology is for everyone. But do you feel confident enough to start your own blog? Based on a previous post by me, I wrote a guide on how to start a blog with just a few clicks, which only takes a few minutes. Sure, there’s a lot to learn, but it’s possible to get started in five minutes. And if I can’t persuade you to start your own blog, that’s fine too.

Luckily, you are living in 2022 and there are plenty of solutions online for all sorts of requirements. If you don’t want to run your own blog and website, you can also use platforms like Medium or the blog feature on LinkedIn to publish your articles on the internet without worrying too much about technical things and without paying a single penny. You can also try a website builder if you want a little more control without the technical challenges.

If that’s not something you want to look into either, you can try using social media to start writing down your thoughts. A few tweets in a thread might already be considered as good as a blog post. Some might even prefer this format these days. It’s important to remember that blogging isn’t about writing as many words as you can into a magical, tricky technical box and hoping everyone will find it and read it. Blogging is about sharing your thoughts and helping others. If your thinking is compact enough, of course, a single tweet will do.

Just start

It doesn’t matter how you start – but you should start. Writing is good for your soul and your brain. You can write down complex thoughts and ideas and even complain about something that upsets you. You will find that this frees up space in your mind and you will also be able to get rid of negative thoughts more easily. You also don’t need to study writing style and grammar beforehand – just start, and you’ll learn and improve over time.

If you want to start in perfect shape, you will never start. I started with pen and paper while traveling and only later put the words on the internet so that’s also a way to start. I hope you found this article useful and have fun with the best job in the world – blogging thoroughly.
